CIM ceramics belong to high purity triaxial type, according to the rule DIN VDE 0335, and are included in types C-110, C-111, C-120, C-130. Within them we could find different articles such as oven tries or those products denominated “chinafort”. Ceramics of C-410 type are the fireproof casseroles that could be used directly on the flame.

Ceramics, in spite of being a hard, resistant and stubborn material, is a fragile product that needs a specific care in order to preserve his incomparable characteristics.

SCRATCHES
It’s difficult that ceramics could be scratched due to external elements, but must be protected from itself, although CIM takes special care in the polish of all his articles bases.

It’s important to employ high quality cutlery to avoid that diary wear could place, due to rubbing, ferrous particles on the enamel, damaging in that way the surface bright.

BREAKING CAUSED BY THERMIC SHOCK The articles denominated FLAMA, as fireproof casseroles, are made using a special paste that resists direct flame. Anyway, when using these products, although they have a low thermic dilation coefficient, sudden temperature changes must be avoided, as those produced when putting an object directly from the fridge to the flame. Also must be avoided to put them directly on the flame without any liquid inside, as for example oil, souse or others.
